So its Thursday, last day before my weekend break then back to work on Sunday. My new promotion at work is going pretty well. I've been learning to opening and closing ropes for my position and I think I have everything down in my notes so that I can take over on my nights without any assistance. I'll definatly still need my practice but I think I'm going to be alright.
I tried out the restraunt across the parking lot from work. Opal Devine's: Austin Grill. I thought it was pretty good for a first experience (the food that is, I had to wait a while). I tried the chicken tenders with a side of cracked pepper fries because I wanted something quick and cheep ($10 for food and drink isn't to bad).
I'm finishing up New Moon so I can go into the film knowing everything. I saw the first movie before finishing the book. Honestly I enjoyed the film better. Stephanie isn't a bad writer, she has a great thought process but I know the book is horrible. As a friend said "Its like a guilty pleasure." I'll most likely hold out on the third installment till the movie tie-in is released.
On my side of the fence I'm still working on The Raven's Eye. Chapter 25: A Reason to Live, A Reason to Die is UTP (Under The Pen). I like how easy it has been to work on this project. I know that going through it a second time as I type and reprocess everything will be harder. I honestly do not have the best grammer or vocabulary. I'll have to hire a close friend to go through it with me and help me smooth out all the bumps. After that I'll try a test audience and take questions and sugestions back to the computer and edit it again. I do want to get it published if I can.
I keep trying to think about the sequel and continuing book (which at the moment is untitled), but all my thoughts are going to a possible third book that would take place after the two part storyline that I'm on right now.
Playing Kingdom Hearts right now. Such an awesome game. I've got my Game Boy on hold right now and my PSP Go hasn't been touched in over a month.
Its not that I don't want to play it as much as I'm still waiting on a good game to come out that I really want to play. At the moment I only have Rock Band (Money Pit), and Monster Hunter Freedom Unite (which is very complicated).
I think Assassin's Creed will be a good one to gvet but I'll have to get the funds first and a better internet connection to download it.
Film wise I want to go see Saw VI before it leaves theaters (that is if it already hasn't. I know its going to be crap but its a purely fan driven film right now and I am a fan.
The producers say that they will continue to make the films as long as people want to see them. Saw VII and VIII are already in the works for the net two years. They say VII may be in 3D but I'm not sure if that'll be a good idea.
I've seen a few 3d films and I'm not sure how I feel about them.
Lastly I'm going to take my driving test tomorrow morning. I want to see what I can remember from school and if I'm lucky I can get my permit to start practicing again.
